How does the pouch work?
The carrier panel sits on the front of the hoodie and holds your baby chest-to-chest against you, the position most newborns settle into naturally. It detaches completely when you don't want it.
What age and weight is it for?
Newborn to around 12 months, up to roughly 22 lb / 10 kg. Follow normal babywearing safety: baby's face visible and clear of fabric, chin off chest, close enough to kiss.
Is it safe?
The pouch holds baby high and snug in breathable fleece. Keep their face and airways visible at all times and stay hands-aware, exactly as you would with any sling. For long hands-free walks, use it alongside your usual structured carrier.
Can I wear it pregnant?
Yes. The relaxed cut and stretch in the fleece handle a bump comfortably. Plenty of parents wear it through pregnancy, then add the pouch afterward.
Is it warm enough for winter?
For most days, yes. The fleece traps heat between you and baby, so a coat on top usually isn't needed for short outings. On very cold days layer a coat over the whole thing; baby stays inside.
Can dads wear it?
Yes. The cut and colors are unisex. Size accordingly.
How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold on gentle, air dry or tumble low. No bleach, no harsh detergent. The fleece keeps its loft wash after wash.
